And we follow up our best episode of the Pre-Ilya podcast with by far our worst episode ever in the podcast. Patrick was so sleep-deprived due to late-night work schedule that he fell asleep during the movie, and then again while we were recording. None of us were super familiar with Ozu and ended up feeling oddly nonplussed by the movie itself. What an embarrassment for these erudite film analyzers!
