Heralds & Denouncements are gone again! But this time there’s an explanation, and that’s that this episode was recorded before we started doing them regularly. We pushed things around to make room for Black Filmmakers Month because this isn’t one! It centers around black characters but Shirley Clarke is a white woman. Also of note, we watched this movie on a very bad VHS rip (hence the especially terrible screengrab quality) and the movie has since had a digital remaster and re-release. Way to go!
